The Creole Cooking Class explores the iconic dishes of New Orleans from Jambalaya to Bananas Foster. Presented by Chef Dee Lavigne, Owner of the Deelightful Roux School of Cooking, the demonstration class offers an in-depth look into creating delicious, traditional dishes that can be found nowhere else in the world while discussing their cultural and historical origins. In addition, the class includes a curator-led tour of the Southern Food and Beverage Museum. This is a hands-on cooking class where you will be learning about Creole culture and the cooking techniques to make this cuisine in your daily life.
